Hello and welcome to ‘Lisa’s Reality’, a blog run by me (Lisa!).

My blog covers a wide range of topics with a particular focus on health & wellbeing, university, and lifestyle (or in other words: all of the ‘other stuff’ that doesn’t fit into the former two categories).

Suffering from OCD, anxiety and anorexia myself, I’m especially passionate about mental health advocacy and therefore talk about my personal experiences in the hopes of raising awareness and eradicating stigma. I believe that nobody should be ashamed to talk about their mental health and I want to inspire others to do the same (as well as provide hope that recovery is more than possible!).

I am also a second year Psychology student (although I am currently taking a year out on health grounds). Nevertheless, I will still attempt to share the tips & tricks for surviving university life that I learnt during my (failed attempt) at first year! 🙃

Others things that I love include: arts and crafts, cute animals and drinking copious cups of tea.
