Hello and welcome to ‘Lisa’s Reality’, a blog run by me (Lisa!).

My blog covers a wide range of topics with a particular focus on health & wellbeing, lifestyle and student life.

Suffering from OCD, anxiety and anorexia myself, I’m especially passionate about mental health advocacy and therefore talk about my personal experiences in the hopes of raising awareness and eradicating stigma.

I believe that nobody should be ashamed to talk about their mental health and I want to inspire others to do the same (as well as provide hope that recovery is more than possible!).

I am also a second year Psychology student so will be sharing my tips and tricks for surviving university that I’ve picked up along the way. Everything from study motivation, revision tips to exam stress – I’ve got you covered!

Others things that I love include: arts and crafts, cute animals and drinking copious cups of tea.
